Membrane series

Filtration, followed by a second squeeze.

First, form the cake.

The feed enters the filter chambers under pressure. Liquid passes through the filter media and leaves the press, while the solids remain in the chambers as filter cake.

Then, apply the squeeze.

The catalogue describes a second stage in which the membranes press against the cake to remove additional liquid. The result depends on the material, filtration conditions, selected media and squeeze configuration.

Understand the configuration.

01

TPE membrane plates

The catalogue describes TPE membranes for the secondary squeeze stage. Plate dimensions and chamber capacity vary across the supplied reference rows; the photographed machine has not been assigned to an exact row.

02

Squeeze medium options

Air, inert gas, water and oil are mentioned as squeeze media in the catalogue. The appropriate medium, supply arrangement and permitted conditions must be confirmed for the selected equipment and process.

03

Frame and surface preparation

A Q345B carbon-steel frame and sandblasted surface preparation are described. Confirm the actual frame material, coating and corrosion requirements in the model-specific offer.

04

Washing arrangement

The catalogue illustrates a double-rod washing arrangement. Its presence in the catalogue does not establish that it is included with every model or with the photographed configuration.

¹ Row identifiers are reference labels. They combine the source filtration area and plate size. Unclear model-code suffixes have not been reconstructed; confirm the exact model designation separately.

† Source value needs verification. The 500/1500 row prints a weight of 33,380 kg, while the preceding 450/1500 row prints 33,400 kg. Both values are retained as printed and must be checked with the supplier.

Pressure is deliberately excluded from this comparison. The catalogue and parameter sheet describe pressure differently. See the pressure note below before using any source pressure value.

Source: the supplied membrane parameter sheet, pages 1–2. Figures are transcribed source values. Please obtain a model-specific specification and drawing before selection or installation.

Pressure is configuration-specific.

Resolve the pressure definitions.

The catalogue and parameter sheet do not provide a consistent basis for comparing feed pressure, membrane squeeze pressure and maximum or design pressure. A single verified operating rating cannot yet be assigned to this page.

Confirm these pressure definitions and the corresponding equipment configuration in a written, model-specific specification.

Before equipment selection

Provide the feed material, solids content, temperature, chemistry, required cake condition and intended throughput. Confirm media compatibility, pressure limits and the supporting utilities for that process.

No universal moisture, capacity, cycle time, delivery time or warranty commitment is supplied here.

Look at the plates. Confirm the interfaces.

Membrane filter plate pair from the supplied membrane product materials
Membrane-family plate photograph from the supplied materials. It is not a dimensioned installation drawing or an exact-model identification.

Request the selected model’s documents.

The supplied plate photograph helps explain the component family. A model-matched general arrangement, connection schedule, foundation information and maintenance manual are still required.

Awaiting confirmation: dimensional drawing, feed and filtrate connections, squeeze-medium interfaces, plate and cloth replacement procedure, cleaning guidance and installation requirements. This preview does not provide operating instructions.

Start with the process material.

Mineral and industrial streams

The catalogue lists concentrate and tailings processing, metallurgy, chemicals and ceramics.

Wastewater and viscous materials

Listed uses include sewage treatment, municipal wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater, fine chemicals and other viscous materials.

Process industries

Pharmaceutical and food applications are also mentioned. Suitability, contact materials and any hygiene requirements need process-specific verification.

These are application areas described in the catalogue, not proof of performance for every material. Share a representative sample and the separation objective when discussing suitability.

Evidence for the selected model.

Factory and equipment photographs are available in the supplied materials. A model-matched project record and complete certificate scope have not yet been verified.

Awaiting confirmation: certificate annex and applicable models, complete ISO evidence, project dates, photograph attribution and measured results. No certification badge or performance result is asserted here.
